GOLF TEE TIMES
Once offer of tee times has been made, we require your confirmation/acceptance by return along with your method of payment.
Please be aware: all flights/tee times are allocated as 4 players. If you are 1 or 2 or 3 players in a flight then all individual golf course have the right to make each flight/tee time a 4 ball . Therefore, other players may join you.
This is NOT the decision of our agency, but of each INDIVIDUAL golf course on the day of play & this applies to ALL players, especially in the high season.
On confirmation of tee times, a minimum non refundable 100 EUROS deposit must be made by credit card OR 50% of the price which ever is the highest. No tee times are confirmed unless this deposit is received.
Final payment can be made by credit card without charges or by bank transfer to our bank account here in Tenerife if made up tp 6 weeks before arrival. - we accept Visa or master card.
Please note a 3% admin charge can be applied to final balance payments made here in the resort.
ANY OTHER PAYMENT TERMS ARE BY INDIVIDUAL ARRANGEMENT ONLY:
CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS
When making a payment online we give you the option of paying in EUROS or the currency of the CARD. If you choose to pay in YOUR CARD CURRENCY we do not decide the rate of exchange , this is standard machine policy & governed by the bank at the time the payment is debited not our agency.
SOUTH TENERIFE GOLF SERVICES S.L are not responsible or liable for the exact exchange rate used by the bank.
Notice of cancellations must be made in writing to the company acknowledged by ourselves. Deposits are non refundable.
Cancellations made 28 DAYS OR LESS prior to first tee time 100% cancellation fee will apply.
AMENDMENTS TO RESERVATIONS
Once a deposit or full payment has been made against a reservation SOUTH TENERIFE GOLF SERVICES S.L may charge an admin fee of 25€ tomake any amendments to the reservation.
ILLNESS - cancellation made due to illness less than 48 hours prior to start time the golf course will offer to re-schedule your round where possible . If not possible the golf course will require a medical certificate then you will be entitled to a refund from our agency. All medical refunds carry a minimum 10% administration cost.
BUENAVISTA GOLF - note this course have a strict policy & will not allow any modifications less than 48 hours prior to your allocated tee time. ( they will NOT refund against rain)
All refunds given due to medical illness are made on an individual basis at the discretion of SOUTH TENERIFE GOLF SERVICES S.L.
Smart shorts or trousers may be worn. All T-shirts must have collars on them.
Golf shoes or trainers with socks. (NO METAL SPIKES PLEASE) no sandals.
MISSED TEE TIMES
Tee times missed for any reason INCLUDING flight delays, are the sole responsibility of the individual and are not the responsibility of the golf course or SOUTH TENERIFE GOLF SERVICES S.L. This is particularly important when clients reserve tee times on DAY OF ARRIVAL.
If you do not think you will be able to meet your tee time, please call us PRIOR TO PLAY & we will advise you, but this cannot be guaranteed due to golf course availability. We cannot make amendments after the tee time has passed.
Tee times missed due to poor weather conditions are handled on an individual basis by each course and are not the responsibility of South Tenerife Golf Services S.L. In most cases the courses will work to re-schedule your round. If re-scheduling is not possible, S. Tenerife Golf Services S.L. has the discretion to authorise a refund. On arrival at the course, if conditions are un-playable due to heavy rainfall, clients are to re-schedule direct with the golf course reception staff then inform our office & we will re-issue golf vouchers accordingly.
If client begin to play no refunds will be given accept at the sole discretion of each golf course. For golf packages that include buggies - if a buggie is included in your golf package due to heavy rain the courses will not allow buggies on the course - then a trolley will be offered - alternatively the course will offer to reschedule your round during bad weather. Only at the discretion of South Tenerife golf Services will a refund be given.
Buggie deals cannot be transferred between golf courses.
DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER IF THE CLIENT DOES NOT REPORT TO THE GOLF COURSE OR CONTACT OUR OFFICE ON THE DAY OF PLAY NO REFUNDS CAN BE GIVEN.
BUENAVISTA GOLF - note this course have a strict cancellation policy & will not allow any modifications less than 48 hours prior to your allocated tee time. Buenavista course will NOT refund against rain or inclement weather.
Handicap: MEN: max 28 LADIES: 36.
If you are in possession of a handicap certificate we recommend you carry this with you as it could be asked for at any time on the golf course. ( All courses have marshalls)
Our agency does not require to see your handicap certificate but all players must be able to play to the handicaps above.
If you cannot play to the above handicaps or a marshall asks you to leave the course at any time no refunds will be given.
Clients must report at least 30 mins before their designated tee off time.
All courses have a “no metal spike” policy, although most courses have the facility to change to soft spikes at a small extra charge.
Where golf course & or airport transfer service is supplied - ersonnel effects are the responsibility of the client at all times. We SOUTH TENERIFE GOLF SERVICES S.L the BUS COMPANY do not take responsibility for the loss of personnel items, including golf clubs - if left unattended on the bus at any time.
We cannot honour any "special offers" that any golf courses may advertise at any time - as these do not always apply to our agency.
CLUB HIRE Terms Conditions of hire
“Equipment” shall mean the golf equipment being hired.
“First Hire Day” and “Last Hire Day” shall mean the first and last days respectively on which the Equipment is being hired by you.
“Hire Period” shall mean the period during which the Equipment is being hired and will commence on the First Hire Day and terminate on the Last Hire Day.
This agreement is entered into with SOUTH TENERIFE GOLF SERVICES S.L THE LEAD NAME/HIRER on reservation.
3. RESERVATION PERIOD
Minimum hire duration is one day.
The maximum Hire Period is 4 weeks - Subject to Availability:
South Tenerife golf Services s.l will make all reasonable efforts to provide you with the Equipment you order. However, please note that due to unknown factors such as Equipment not being returned on time, lost or stolen Equipment, etc., all of our Equipment is subject to availability. If the Equipment you require is unavailable, we will endeavour to replace it with equipment of the same standard.
4. CLUB HIRE EQUIPMENT RENTAL FEES
All prices will be advised at time of reservation and are subject to change without notice. The prices are guaranteed for the hire associated to the confirmed booking. The prices take into account all mandatory charges and include IGIC or any other local tax. Additional charges may be levied in the following situations: i.Damages Theft: up to the limit of the Equipment’s manufacturer’s suggested retail price. Failure to return the Equipment for any reason on the Last Hire Day or when requested to do so will result in our charging your/the hirer credit card the full amount of the manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the Equipment, in addition to any charges for the Hire Period.
5. DELIVERY AND COLLECTION
We will deliver collect all golf equipment to you either at the hotel or the golf course according to your preference our schedule. We will advise you previously. Clients who book more than one set of clubs when making their reservation, will be responsible for all club hire equipment it is their credit card details “the hirer” used as the guarantee card. If this is not acceptable please advise our golf representative on delivery they will amend accordingly with an individual reservation form. Please note a valid credit card is necessary for all additional reservation forms to secure golf equipment. In the event of a “no show” at delivery time date We will keep the reservation for 12 hours and then cancel (unless rebooked) your credit card will be charged in full.
In the event of hired golf equipment not being at the correct collection point as agreed with the Golf rep - a further callout fee of 25€ will apply.
6. WEATHER CONDITIONS
We do not refund club hire fees in the event of illness or inclement weather conditions once agreement has been signed.
7. CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS
The Hirer hereby authorizes South Tenerife golf Services S:L to charge their credit card for any amounts due plus any late, lost, stolen, broken, non-returned equipment, and for all other amounts payable under the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
8. RESPONSIBILITY OF HIRER
Not to use the Equipment for different purposes. Not to be left in vechicle’s unattended. We are not responsible for clubs stolen from private or rental cars. Full charges will be debited from hirer /lead card holder. Not to use the Equipment in an abusive manner. Allow Tenerife golf Services to examine the Equipment at any time. Advise us SOUTH TENERIFE GOLF SERVICES S.L immediately if there is any fault or defect Return the Equipment in its initial condition on the Last Hire Day. Repossession of Equipment: South Tenerife golf services s. Reserves the right to request the return of the Equipment or to repossess the Equipment if you do not comply with your duties as above. In the event of repossession, South Tenerife Golf Services s.l will not make refunds for club hire period. Hirer hereby authorizes South Tenerife golf Services S:L to charge their credit card for any amounts due plus any late, lost, stolen, broken, non-returned equipment, and for all other amounts payable under the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
9. CHANGES TO RESERVATION: MODIFICATION / CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations: You may cancel this agreement at any time by notifying SOUTH TENERIFE GOLF SERVICES S.L by e-mail of your intention to cancel. Clubs can only be cancelled by email and phone cancellations cannot be accepted. All cancellations will be acknowledged this must be received by the hirer for the cancellation to be valid. In the case of cancellations, the following is our cancellation policy. A minimum charge of 10 plus bank charges will apply to all cancellations. For cancellations of less than 28 days from date of delivery will result in a charge of 30% of the value of the booking plus bank charges. For cancellations of less than 14 days a charge of 50% of the value of the booking plus bank charges will apply. For bookings cancelled less than 7 days but more than 48 hours from date of delivery a 75% of the value of the booking plus bank charges will apply. No refund will apply to bookings cancelled less than 48 hours from date of delivery. Our online cancellation policy supersedes all other written contracts. Bookings and Extension of Hire Period: We will do our best to accommodate any changes that you may wish to make to your booking, including any extensions that you may wish to make to the hire period. Please note, however, that any such changes are subject to availability, particularly when requested within 72 hours or less of your First Hire Day.
Failure to return the Equipment for any reason on the Last /agreed Hire Day will result in our charging your credit card the full amount of the manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the Equipment, in addition to any charges for the Hire Period. Where insurance has been purchased the charge in respect to damage shall be reduced to zero providing the head of the club is returned. Where the head of the club is not returned said equipment will be deemed as lost / stolen.
